Picture Gallery: Our pictures

We show here pictures of rhododendron and azalea species, and of some hybrids. Most were taken in our garden and show some of the specific clones that we have, or have had, for sale. A few are of plants in the UBC Botanical Garden or at the Rhododendron Species Foundation. Generally we have continued to label plants with the name used when we got them. Hence some species are listed here under older names, and in some cases under two different names. We now have in the gallery about 700 species pictures representing about 300 different species and about 200 pictures of hybrids.

Rhododendron Species Foundation: This is another excellent database of rhododendron pictures maintained by the Rhododendron Species Foundation and Botanical Garden in Federal Way, Washington.

Hirsutum - Virtual Arboretum: This is a project of the Dutch chapter of the ARS and contains many pictures of both species and hybrids, along with lots of other information, in a well designed and useful format.
